Hi, I'm Sam, with 20 years of experience as a barista.
Most of my days are spent at Maxie Coffee shop, where our core mission is to consistently serve great brews, fulfilling our customers' caffeine needs deliciously.

Throughout my time as a barista, I've been dedicated to making the perfect coffee. But at home, on the weekends, I took a different approach. Instead of the whole grinding and brewing process, I chose a simpler method that still delivered quality. I started bringing home coffee liquid extraction from work, mixing it with milk for an instant, satisfying cup—sometimes chilled, sometimes heated. This became my shortcut to quality coffee without the fuss. This method became my shortcut to enjoying quality coffee without the hassle, assured of its excellence since it was brewed precisely to recipe and ratio.

Then it hit me: if I, with all my coffee experience, enjoyed this simple pleasure, others might too. The idea of bottling these perfect coffee shots for easy home use led to the creation of Bunka Coffee.
Bunka Coffee was a straightforward yet innovative concept: provide coffee enthusiasts the taste of specialty coffee in a convenient, ready-to-pour form. With zero effort, you still get a delicious brew.
When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my beautiful family, beekeeping, and training for Tae Kwon Do. Life is too short. Leave perfecting great coffee to us experts, and focus on what brings joy to your life.
